Why are the simplest things the best? Tonight I felt like noshing on something and made and an open faced caprese sandwich. As pretentious as this may seem it really isn’t, the ingredients are simple and there always good. I toasted some ciabatta bread, and cut up slices of mozzarella and tomato, after that I mixed some pesto my mom made with mayo shmeared it on the toasted ciabatta and assembled the the tomato and mozzarella on top.
